Golden Light Puppies
Simba & William have had their honeymoon & are expecting a beautiful litter of AKC Golden Retrievers due March 28th.
Both parents have excellent temperaments & come from exceptional bloodlines with CHIC health testing that can be traced back for generations. The parents' previous puppies have been stellar: wonderful family members, loyal companions & several have gone onto be excellent therapy & service dogs. The puppies will range from dark red to gold in color & will have medium length coats & athletic medium size builds. With mom 68 lb & dad 75 I am expecting puppies to be approximately 65-75 for females & 70-80 for males.
Puppy Health Care
The pups will be on a health care schedule supervised by my vet. Their first de-worming's are at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks & they receive their first Parvo/Distemper vaccination at 5 weeks & second vaccination at 7-8 weeks. Each pup has a microchip implanted & I pre-pay lifetime registration. They all have individual thorough vet checks before going home & you will receive a written exam report from the vet.
Puppy Socialization
My puppies are raised using a socialization program called Puppy Culture & ENS. This program uses positive training techniques to teach pups to approach life with confidence & curiosity instead of anxiety & fear. They will learn: potty training, crate training, going on car rides, visiting the vet, being groomed & having their nails trimmed. I have the puppies play with kids of all ages, adults, other gentle adult dogs of various sizes & our cat.

Mother - Meet my beautiful girl Simba: she is absolutely a lovebug to every person she meets. I’d describe her as a total lap dog. If she is with you, she has her head or paws on your lap, her head next to you on your pillow or is your shadow when up and about. She loves kids and is very gentle, patient & attentive with them. Father - William aka Willie is a dark red field coat golden; he has dark shiny mahogany hair that flows in a beautiful long mane from his chest & beautiful gold eyes. His family says he is extremely intelligent and has a perfect blend of playful and calm. Although he is always up for outdoor activities, he also loves to cuddle and nap with his people. He is also extremely empathetic and always knows when someone needs comfort. He’s has a younger human brother with whom he is amazing, and he loves all the other animals he’s met. Willie has a champion hunting pedigree on his father's side.
